LEG DAY

SOBER COWBOY LEG DAY. Gotta have strong legs to spur down Bushwacker. No one likes a cowboy that skips leg day, so go get at it! 🤠

Three of my favorite leg day activities to get ya started.

Start with leg extensions. Get these things warm with 1 set of 25 and 4 sets of 12. Super Set with calf raises (either sitting or standing)

Single leg press. Focus in on one leg at a time. 4 sets of 10.

Bulgarian Split Squats. These are more hamstring/glute focused, but they use all the muscles in the legs and I like a good burnout. 4 sets of 20 (each leg). Usually after the 1st set I drop the weight and just focus on the movement.

I usually just do light cardio on leg day because if you’re lifting legs you’re using the biggest muscle group therefore burning the most calories. My goal isn’t necessarily weight loss, but strength so I save cardio for the other days.
