GETTING STARTED IN THE GYM

Getting started in the gym can be intimidating, especially if you’ve never done it. But don’t worry, SOBER COWBOY is here to motivate, inspire, push and grow with each other.

Start with simple movements. Whether you want to lift weights, do cardio, or focus on full body functional movements, it is going to be uncomfortable at first. Take it one day and one workout at a time.

You’re going to be sore, but it will fade with consistency.

Don’t worry about others in the gym. I know I know, easier said than done right?

Most of the time, people in the gym are only worried about themselves, just like you are. But keep in mind, the only one who can judge us is the man up above, so don’t worry too much about what others think.

Also, if you’re there and doing it, that is more than most can say. Leave your ego at the door, go in and work hard.

Go to bed and drink a lot of water. After two weeks of consistency, you’re going to notice already feeling better.

The first step is starting.
